The landscape expanding ice tongues, some reaching depths of nearly 1 mile (1.6 kilometres), that filled in the valleys and overflowed onto the plains. Amphitheatre-like cirques, arête ridges, and majestic peaks were shaped from the mountaintops; the valleys were widened and deepened into general U-shapes, and immense waterfalls, poured forth from hanging valleys hundreds of feet above the main valley floors; elongated lakes of great depth. And there are roads between them. Let's dance.

They feature some of the most beautiful mountain landscapes with vertical walls, cliffs and dense narrow, deep and long valleys, representing a diversity of spectacular landscapes of international significance for geomorphology marked by steeples, pinnacles and rock walls, glacial landforms and karst systems. The Dolomites are a part of UNESCO World Heritage List and widely regarded as being among the most attractive mountain landscapes in the world. It is a place filled with roads for ultimate joy of riding and, as such, an ideal place on our route. We will enter Carniche Alps and meet again first of many to come, serious mountain passes like Falzarego and Valparola. We will settle in Corvara Badia. The road itself is a marvel of engineering skill; the exhilarating serpentine sections simply lure experienced drivers. All in all, this could be the most magnificent road pass in Europe. But prior to that as a warm up we will have to solve another three high mountain passes above 2000m/6.500ft- like Passo Pennes or Jaufenpass. The day six journey ends in Bormio, another Italian top touristic resort. The hosts say, who discovers Bormio never forget the charm that emanates. It is a cauldron kissed by the sun.
