About the tour

The landscape expanding ice tongues, some reaching depths of nearly 1 mile (1.6 kilometres), that filled in the valleys and overflowed onto the plains. Amphitheatre-like cirques, arête ridges, and majestic peaks were shaped from the mountaintops; the valleys were widened and deepened into general U-shapes, and immense waterfalls, poured forth from hanging valleys hundreds of feet above the main valley floors; elongated lakes of great depth. And there are roads between them. Let's dance.

  • 1.Arrival day

Welcome to Munich, capital of Bayern, Germany. It owns one of the busiest and biggest EU airports which enable you to fly in directly from any world location. Depending on your arrival time we will organize further activities. First, we will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your accommodation site. Next, we would like you to get acquainted with your bike and therefore a short test ride will be optimal and can include some of sightseeing or if enough time sightseeing will be done separately. Traditional dinner in the evening apart from new taste will be fine opportunity to discuss about the tour details.

  • 2.Munich(Germany) – Kitzbuhel region(Austria)

A quick daily briefing will follow the breakfast and our journey will start. Through pastoral Bayern over a landscape dotted with old castles, churches and viaduct passes we will heading to Kitzbuehel Alps where we are going to meet an unparalleled sports region and town Kitzbuehel. Kitzbuehel Hahnenkamm hosts ski races, snow polo, triathlon and tennis trophy. The city's heart beats loud and strong. Kitzbuehel, the sports capital in the heart of the Alps, combines tradition and lifestyle as charming as any other city. The city is famous not only the unique charm, but also the energy of the city as well as the sporty top hotel industry and catering alike and makes Kitzbuehel the celebrity hot spot in the Alps. Our base for day two will be small town Mittersill south from Kitzbuehel in the National Parks region which offers extended range of Panorama sites on original alpine landscapes of Hohe Tauern and some of the world highest waterfalls. We will end the day with traditional Austrian dinner.

  • 3.Kitzbuehel - Lienz

The Kitzbuehel Alps were just the foreplay for the famous Grossglockner High Alpine Road which leads the way through the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park to Mt Grossglockner (3798m), highest peak of Austria. Riding 48 km of curved twisty alpine path we will reach the altitude of approx. 2500 m. There will be many panorama stops to enjoy the landscape. We will end the day in medieval town of Lienz, center of the district which covers Ost Tirol. Lienz is located at the confluence of the rivers Isel and Drava and is rich history teller. We will meet some of them and enjoy another Austrian traditional food. The exquisite Tyrolean dishes will make you want to savour this pleasure for a while.

  • 4.Lienz(Austria) – Alta Badia(Italy)

Our route will take us south over the Italian border where we will be entering the Dolomites. The Dolomites are a mountain range in the northern Italian Alps, with 18 peaks rising over 3,000 meters and covering 141,903 ha. They feature some of the most beautiful mountain landscapes with vertical walls, cliffs and dense narrow, deep and long valleys, representing a diversity of spectacular landscapes of international significance for geomorphology marked by steeples, pinnacles and rock walls, glacial landforms and karst systems. The Dolomites are a part of UNESCO World Heritage List and widely regarded as being among the most attractive mountain landscapes in the world. It is a place filled with roads for ultimate joy of riding and, as such, an ideal place on our route. We will enter Carniche Alps and meet again first of many to come, serious mountain passes like Falzarego and Valparola. We will settle in Corvara Badia. Corvara, situated at 1568 meters above the sea level on a sunny plain at the foot of the Mt. Sassongher, is, in many ways, the cradle of tourism in Alta Badia

  • 5.Rest day: Corvara

Rest day in Corvara offers many options. Surrounding passes or just relax and recuperating strengths. We propose smooth ride to Lago di Garda one of the famous lake resorts in Italy. Depends on your preferences we will organize group or individual itineraries.

  • 6.Alta Badia - Bormio

From Corvara we will head on an outstanding ride through the Dolomites, visiting Passo di Stelvio. The Stelvio Pass is a high mountain pass at 2757 m (9045 feet) above the sea level, located in the Ortler Alps in Italy. The road over the pass, Strada Statale 38, is the highest paved mountain pass in the Eastern Alps and the second highest in the Alps, after the Col de l'Iseran (2770 m asl). The road itself is a marvel of engineering skill; the exhilarating serpentine sections simply lure experienced drivers. All in all, this could be the most magnificent road pass in Europe. But prior to that as a warm up we will have to solve another three high mountain passes above 2000m/6.500ft- like Passo Pennes or Jaufenpass. The day six journey ends in Bormio, another Italian top touristic resort. The hosts say, who discovers Bormio never forget the charm that emanates. It is a cauldron kissed by the sun. And after a full day, nothing is better than a typical Italian dinner and entertainment provided by your guide.

  • 7.Bormio(Italy) – Andermatt region(Switzerland)

Well rested we will leave Bormio and follow the challenging perfect Alpine scenery ahead. Narrow, twisty, curved, up and down roads near top Alp's peaks and crystal clear lakes lead our way to Switzerland, over Berninapass direction St. Moritz, another famous ski resort, then over fascinating Malojapass to next one, Splugenpass and then over riding skills demanding Passo del Bernardino on our route to Andermatt region, considered as unparalleled riding region. But before that enjoyable Lukmanierpass and scaled Oberalppass will test our condition and skills. We will end the day in heart of the Swiss alpine roads, Andermatt region. Nice, traditional Swiss dinner brings us back to life and same time refreshes memories of the day behind.

  • 8.Rest day: Andermatt

Rest day in Andermatt offers a lot but rest. Vicinity is packed with spectacular passes in every direction. South, the largest glacier in the Alps, Great Aletsch, UNESCO World Heritage Site, accessible by cable car, or Neufenpass, the highest pass in Switzerland or Furkapass to the west, as well as Gimmselpass and Sustenpass, or even ride to Zermatt, the village under the great Matterhorn. We stay at your disposal to organize and create itinerary according to your wishes.

  • 9.Andermatt region(Switzerland) – Sankt Anton(Austria)

On this day we will start to leave top hills and alpine riding. We will scale down fascinating Klausenpass and say goodbye to big peaks. But hello to legends, such is William Tell when riding through Altdorf region in Wallensee direction. It is going to be smooth riding through forested medieval landscapes. We will visit Vaduz, capital of small monarchy of Lichtenstein to feel the touch of history tales and then keep on riding to Sankt Anton region. Again in Alps, but Austrian again, dinner will be traditional one, culinary delights of regional food, just to remind us on our first days.

  • 10.Sankt Anton region(Austria) - Munich(Germany)

Today, and it is our last day of riding, the Austrian Alps will give us the way to Bavarian Alps offering gentle passes then suddenly challenging ones up to the foothills of southern Bavaria. The German Alpine Road will take us to Garmisch famous German ski resort, but also the home of traditional biggest BMW rider’s yearly meeting. Surroundings are dotted with many churches, castles, such are Ludwig's Castle or Linderhoff, and each is telling its amazing history tale. Late in the afternoon we will reach our starting point, Munich. In the evening, during the special dinner, we will share tons of impressions collected from past ten days riding and try to forget for a moment that evening will be too short to review all. But, there is always next time again!

  • 11.Flight home

The farewell day: your departure time will determine the way we organize the day. There are several possibilities, Munich sightseeing being only one of them.

To round up your stay, we will transfer you to the airport and wish you a nice and pleasant flight home with one final hope: that you had the time of your life with us and that you'll be coming back!
